Father's Day was today and it was pretty wonderful. Even though I had to work for a dew hours, we all had a really great day. We went to see a Rivercats game with my parents (local AAA baseball team, A's affiliate, playing the Giants affiliate).

One of the great things about Raley Field is the lawn seating. For $7 you can sit in the grass and watch the game. It's cheap, the seats are pretty good, and the kids can run around a bit. My parents, Bryan, and the kid got there early enough to get pretty good shade. I got there about an hour after first pitch and the kids did well enough to stay for the entire game. Griffin nursed the second he saw me and slept for most of the rest of the game.

Penelope made some new friends, most notably a little boy named Hunter who was 5 and with whom she had a few tickle fights.
