Hormones

My midwives told me that it could be up to 3 months after Penelope's birth before I would feel "normal" again.

Ha! Hahahahahahahahahahaha.

Normal my @$$.

I don't even know what normal is anymore, but I highly doubt that I will ever get back to pre-pregnancy levels. This means that I will continue to cry at 99% of commercials and become irritated at the drop of a hat.

  1. I've been very hormonal today. And by "today" I mean "since december"

Seriously though - I totally agree, there will never be a normal again.

  2. I've been super irritable lately, too.

  3. Starting the mini-pill (progesterone only) helped me a LOT. I'm still not normal at all, but I do feel tons better. At first I thought it was that G was starting to sleep better, but since she's now waking 4-5 times a night again, and I still feel better, I'm thinking that's why;)
